What timezone is the hackathon in?

I was just wondering what time zone the hackathon is in. I don't like being late and I really don't want to miss it. As soon as you can, please tell me so I can get the scheduling right. Thanks!

    Okay, then why does the hackathon say it's starting in six hours?

    Hi, we updated that for you! It was set as 12:00AM on the start of the hack date by default. The hackathon is in EST.
